Market: Porto win
Odds:
Slumping to a 2-1 loss away in Italy last month, Porto will be looking to book their spot in the quarterfinals when they host Roma at the Estádio Do Dragão on Wednesday night.
Starting with the hosts, while Porto s 2-1 loss at Benfica over the weekend may have seen them lose their spot at the top of the Primeira table, Sérgio Conceição should be confident of overturning their deficit on Wednesday. The Portuguese outfit have continued to impress in their Champions League appearances at the Estádio Do Dragão. Led by leading goalscorer Moussa Marega who has already bagged five European goals this campaign, Porto have remarkably won five of their last six matches on home soil, a run that stems back to September 2017.
As for the visitors, coming off the back of a very worrying display in their 3-0 hammering against bitter-rivals Lazio over the weekend, Eusebio Di Francesco knows that he will need an immediate response in midweek. Sadly for last year s Champions League semi-finalists, their struggles away from the Stadio Olimpico has been nothing short of woeful. Roma have now lost six of their last seven Champions League away appearances and their defensive issues will be becoming even more of a concern for Francesco. The Oranges have failed to record a European clean sheet on the road in over 12 years.
Bet: Porto 1/1 to beat Roma in Wednesday s Champions League tie
